Local legend, Terry Gulliver, started teaching swimming in 1975.
In 1998, the dream of opening an iconic swim school on the Gold Coast came to life with the opening of Gullivers Coomera, on the northern Gold Coast.
At the time, the area of Upper Coomera on the Gold Coast was significantly different to the busy suburban area it is now!
Over the past 25 years, we’ve coached many successful athletes in the pool, helped babies and kids discover a love of the water, and encouraged adults to renew their love for swimming too.
Now, in 2023, the dream to create a multi-functional facility catering for all family members across a wide range of activities and services has been realised.
We can’t wait to see what is in store for the next 25 years!
